Dror Cohen's  Biography

Born in 1968, Dror Cohen served as a Combat Pilot (F-16s and Skyhawks) and as an instructor at the Israeli Air Force’s Flight School. In June 1992, during his military service, Dror was injured in a car accident. The accident left Dror paralyzed from the waist down and confined to a wheelchair.
In 1995 he was one of the founders of the “Challenge” Association in Israel, a non-for-profit organization, which promotes various outdoor sports and recreation activities for the disabled and other special needs populations. 
Dror Cohen graduated from Tel Aviv University with a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities.
Dror is one of the leading athletes in disabled sports in Israel. He specifies in extreme

sports, and is Israel's disabled champion in sailing.
He participated in the Paralympics games in Sydney 2000', done the Paris Dakar Rally in 2002' and won with his crew the gold medal in Athens 2004'.
